Privacy Policy

We collect as little as we can to run the Service. We do not sell your personal information.

What we collect

Account: email address and a hashed password (via our backend provider Supabase). An account is optional — the guides work without signing in.
Your garden: growing setup (country, space, light), projects, grow log entries, reminders and milestones — synced to your account if you sign in, otherwise stored only on your device.
Plant-doctor requests: the symptoms and notes you submit, and photos if you attach them, processed by an AI provider to generate advice.
Approximate location (optional, off by default): weather notices use your position rounded to about 10 km, stored only on your device. Harvest Swap uses a deliberately coarsened position (~1 km) so nearby growers can find each other; we never store your exact address.

Advertising (Android app only)

The Android app is free and supported by ads. It uses Google AdMob to show optional rewarded videos. AdMob may collect and use your device's advertising ID, along with device and diagnostic information, to serve and measure ads. This data is shared with Google as our advertising provider.

You can reset or delete your advertising ID at any time in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads.
Watching a rewarded video is always optional — nothing in the app is locked behind it permanently.

The website does not run ads and does not use advertising cookies.

Where it lives

Data is hosted on Supabase (database and storage) and Cloudflare (hosting, delivery). Uploaded photos are stored in our media bucket to show inside your grow log.

Payments

There are none. The app and the website are free to use; there are no subscriptions and no in-app purchases, so we never collect or store payment details.

Children

The Service is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)

You can access, correct, export or delete your data at any time. See how to delete your account and data. Email us and we will act within 30 days. We do not sell personal information as defined by the CCPA.

Cookies

On the website we use only functional storage (your session and app state) — no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
